Join us for our Saturday Morning Story Time with special guest Megan Madison! She'll be reading Our Skin: A First Conversation About Race by Megan Madison and Jessica Ralli, illustrated by Isabel Roxas.
Our Skin is the first book to come from the First Conversation board books series! This series is inspired by research that shows the benefits of discussing topics like race, gender, consent, and body positivity with children during their toddler years. This read-aloud board book series offers adults the opportunity to begin important conversations with young children in an informed, safe, and supported way.
So, start the conversation or learn how to with this great new book.
This story time will include a special reading and Q & A with Megan Madison, in addition to our story time warm up and cool down with Memphis Song.
