As a Dominican-American born and raised in Washington Heights, Dabrali M. Diaz has been dancing before she could even walk. She started professionally performing Hip Hop/Pop & Jazz choreographed pieces at the age of twelve in the Salome Ureña Middle Academy’s Dance Team. Throughout her teen & young adult years, Dabrali continued dancing with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Children’s Aid Society Dance Program, La Fuerza Dance Company, and was captain of BlackListed: The National Performance Team of the Sigma Lambda Upsilon sorority.

Dabrali has made her true passion, dance, her full-time career as of 2016. Currently a freelance dance instructor and performer, she specializes in Traditional Bachata, Salsa on 2 (New York Style), and Latin Urban (Reggaeton) styles. In 2019, she wrote and self-published a children's book in efforts to create a cultural legacy. The book title "The Music From Our Country" is the first of its kind.
