“The Keys to My House” is a result of many years of sharing reading, writing, and conversation in the National Domestic Workers Alliance Spanish-Language creative writing workshop. This book opens the door to one’s own home. Here, those who know and take care of the smallest detail in the homes of others, who take care of other people, write about themselves, their stories, their childhoods, their desires, the value of their time and, also, about work.
