In the past decades, literature in Spanish and English written by Latin American and Hispanic-heritage writers has changed the literary scene around the world. The United States is an important player in this conversation with the production of great writers and great publishers. Booksellers, magazines, and literary promoters are the ones that connect this production to the public and the community, looking for more ways to promote literacy and to expand the universe of readers. Covid, Amazon, and economic struggles have made their work harder. This conversation will give us the opportunity to talk about this and brainstorm possible actions, strategies, and projects to disrupt, support and promote our field.
