Comics in the Time of COVID: Outdoors Gallery Launch & Zine Fest



From 5-8PM on Thursday 9/3, please join the most recent class of comics students at Word Up Community Bookshop/Librería Comunitaria for a zine festpostcard launch, and exhibition opening to celebrate the work they did over the spring and summer, supervised by local teaching artist Ellen Lindner. This time around we'll be exhibiting our work on the outside of Word Up, in the windows on the 165th Street side of the shop. Please come to this socially distanced event and view work by Marisol Cruz, Sharon Lee de la Cruz, Jennifer Dickinson, Julie Fernandez, Jen Monsen Leach, Dr. Lemny Perez, Katrina Roberts, Jasmina Tomic, Robert Williams, and more! Please bring a beverage or snack to share - and wear a mask!
